5 Post Pandemic Tips On Finding Summer Love ❤️
This pandemic has made people realize the importance of relationships with family and friends. For months most of the country was sequestered in their homes only to come out to go to the store or to the doctor. Zoom became the thing to do and has forever altered how we communicate. As the mask mandates are lifted and people are venturing out I wanted to get a new perspective on dating. This quest for dating knowledge coincided with my friend Mirelle’s visit from Georgia. I have known her for a long time and she is one of my few friends that is always traveling, pursuing new interests, or dating.
I want to date with the intention of a relationship and what better person to ask than Mirelle who is always out doing something fun. She recently married and was deliriously happy. She had moved into a new house and her family was doing well. Not one to beat around the bush I asked her for some dating tips. What she said shocked me but everything she said was doable. Keep reading for her tips.
Mirelle’s Dating Tip#1: Confidence Is Sexy
Mirelle says that healthy self-confidence is very attractive to men. Confidence is even more important than looks. Sometimes being confident is hard for women as society always seems to frown on women who say what they want however Mirelle says that women who aren’t afraid to say what they want usually get it.
Mirelle Dating Tip #2: Always Look Your Best.
You never know when and where you are going to meet someone so it is important to present your best look. You don’t have to be overly done up however lip gloss, mascara and a light brush of foundation are the basic tools to make you look and feel your best. Even when working out make sure you have on a nice ensemble. Men are visual creatures and the first thing they notice is a women’s physical appearance. Another things Mierre advises is to smile. A smile makes a woman seem friendly and approachable. All things you need to attract a summer romance.
Mierelle’s Dating Tip #3: Never Think a Man is Above You
This ties into having healthy self-confidence when a woman feels good about herself she won’t be afraid to talk to a man. Mirelle has dating high profile men and when I asked her if she was nervous about doing that she told me that she never puts a man above herself. She sees a man despite his status or wealth as a person. I have been out with her and she always enjoys herself, speaks to everyone and treats all people equally well, and has a positive outlook.
Mirelle’s Dating Tip #4: Always Be a Good Listener
Men love to talk about themselves and often don’t get the chance to talk because male friends aren’t as chatty a females. A woman can learn a lot about a man by letting him speak. She also advises women to give a man a sincere compliment. In the early stages of dating a woman wants to know a man’s thoughts about the future, his feelings, his opinions, and if there is chemistry between them. When reconnecting with someone for the first time she advised me to concentrate on getting to know the person and not outright flirting. Once a connection is established on the second encounter it is okay to flirt a little more.
Mirelle’s Dating Tips #5 Always Get His Number
I tend to be shy about asking for a phone number and Mirelle kindly admonished me that I miss opportunities by not getting a phone number from someone I am interested in. She says it is important to get a cell or home number so that you can call and invite him for coffee or to hand out. Gone are the days when a woman has to wait by the phone for a man to ask her out. It is perfectly acceptable for a woman to initiate contact.
I am so glad that I got to see my friend after so much time apart and even more grateful for her tips. I already put her tips into practice and have a date scheduled for next week. I would love to hear about any dating tips you have to share. Please share, like, and comment on this post.
