In Favor or Summer Love With Summer almost over I wanted to share this post that I wrote championing summer love. I hope your summer loves grows or least leaves happy memories in your heart.

Summer is a great time to meet someone new. Spontaneous, exciting and fun, these “summer romances” are what many people yearn for once the temperature rises. Sometimes they last longer than the season and other times they end, becoming a casualty of the cooler weather, but summer romances usually leave the involved with lasting memories and stories, and if they end well, lasting friendships. While they last things are wonderful. I have had several summer romances and I have great memories.

What’s not to like about a summer romance? They are light. There are less pressure as you may just want someone to got to the a concert, or the cookout or just hang out. Maybe its the warm weather or perhaps it is the longer days but when temperature outside heats up so does our libido.

The desire to booed up in the summer drove me to the gym to get in shape. I also spent time getting my hair and nails done. I am more of a risk taker in the summer. Maybe you are too.  I hope the following tips help you find a fun summer romance.

Check out my tips on how to find summer love.

#1 Get Out of the House
You won’t find summer love in your living room. You have to get out. Some suggestions on where are: the pool parties, barbeques,  vacay spots and happy hour.  Take every opportunity you can to get out of the house. Make sure when you do step out your appearance is on point. Women get that mani-pedi. Men get that haircut and clip those nose and ear hairs. Good hygiene is important for both genders. Make sure your there are no offensive

In my novel, What Goes Around Comes Around the heroine reconnects with an old flame when he sees her at a basketball game.

#2 Get In the Gym

Ideally you should have already been working on that summer body back in February but it is never too late to start. Working out improves your confidence and your figure. Who knows you summer love may be working out next to you.

When going to the gym make sure you are wearing attractive attire. This is not the time to slack on your appearance. Be tasteful in your dress but not afraid to show off  a body part, say your abs, that  you are particularly proud of.

#4 Start a New Activity

Cooking sessions and dance classes are great ways to meet new people. Jobs typically slow down in the summer or at least become more lax with summer Fridays or vacations giving you more time to pursue a fun activity.  There are severals meet-ups dedicated to hanging out. I also like to do paint nite. They usually have them in a restaurant and you can meet some great people that way. The warm weather brings out people. Find activities where you can meet new people.

The beach has so many options. You can walk on the beach or the boardwalk. Go to a restaurant or club. And if you’re really lucky you might get invited to a party.

#5 Rev up your dating site profile

Tinder, Match, Gofish are a online dating sites that you might want to consider joining. You may have let your profile lag or perhaps you have been putting off using a dating sign. Summer time is the perfect to start or update your profile. Make sure you post some fun pictures of you on the profile. Update your profile with some cute summer pix.

#6 Let Your Friends Know Your Interested in Finding Someone
You good friend or cousin could know someone that might be a good match for you. Don’t got with an expectation of finding the person you may marry because that put on so much pressure. Go with the idea of meeting new friends.

Would love to hear your tips on finding a new romance in the summer/
